PLHUS exceeds 1.1 million m\u00b2, while Teruel\u2019s logistics and industrial development is centred around <strong>PLATEA,<\/strong> with approximately 260 hectares under development and closely linked to the Teruel Airport ecosystem.<\/p><p>The region is also home to the <strong>Zaragoza PLAZA Rail Logistics Centre,<\/strong> the largest freight terminal in Southern Europe, spanning 755,000 m\u00b2, and supported by a network of more than 80 weekly freight rail connections to Barcelona, Valencia and Bilbao.<\/p><p>The significance of this logistics infrastructure becomes even clearer when looking at the companies that operate within these hubs. PLAZA hosts major international and national firms including Amazon, DHL, Inditex, BSH Home Appliances, Mercadona, Decathlon, Grupo Ses\u00e9 and Carreras. <br>The economic weight of Arag\u00f3n\u2019s logistics sector is also reflected in the turnover of its leading companies. In 2023, Trans Ses\u00e9 reported sales of \u20ac371.8 million, Carreras Grupo Log\u00edstico reached \u20ac294.6 million, and Marcotran Transportes Internacionales recorded \u20ac172.9 million.<\/p><p>Another key component is the Zaragoza Maritime Terminal, which plays an important role in Arag\u00f3n\u2019s international trade activity. Its 2023 accounts linked a decline in activity to lower alfalfa exports and reported an 18% reduction in container volumes and a 21% decrease in rail traffic, illustrating how closely the terminal\u2019s performance is tied to the region\u2019s real economy.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bb2670c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"bb2670c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h5><strong>Arag\u00f3n does not use logistics simply as a support function.
